In 2018, Danielle decided to start a do-it-yourself baking range. The range includes top quality ingredients, and clear and simple instructions. Delightfully, the packaging also doubles as the baking pan.
Baking is not for the faint-hearted. Great bakers are a little like crazy scientists rolled into fine artists. First, you have to find the right quality ingredients; next, you need precision measuring instruments – and know how to use them. There’s no place for a pinch of this and a splash of that when it comes to baking.
The Moemas Bake Box comes with precisely measured out ingredients and easy to follow methods. We designed a range of multi-functional packaging that also becomes the baking pan. Why? Because incorrect volume baking pans are the leading cause of cake failure.
To help with this, we sourced Trayforma® board, an innovative eco-friendly paperboard. It features an advanced three-layer fibre construction with CTMP in the middle layer, making it lightweight, but stiff. The white PET coating on the outside gives it its oven proof capability. You bake the cake right in the box: the box is the perfect sized baking pan, ensuring a perfect result.
