We were inspired by traditional and contemporary Southern African weaving techniques. We used them to celebrate the ‘creative collisions’ between ingredients, flavour, colour, tactile textures and design elements.

We used the sauce as an integral design element and wove the packaging into a multi-dimensional, engaging experience. Simply – saucy from any angle.

Weaving a narrative
The fun doesn’t stop with the design. We brought the uniquely Nando’s tone of voice into the label, appealing to everyone from curious ‘side-of-plate’ dipper to kitchen gourmet.

The bold new packaging, clear brand, flavour and heat intensity cues allows Nando’s PERi-PERi Sauces to leap on the shelf and into trolleys. For the Fando’s we’ve also hidden some design elements that hint at Nando’s brand values and origins.
